Tom Williams of Findahome Online and Keith Atkinson recording The Growth Diary Podcast discussing the story behind Findahome Online estate agents in Stoke-on-Trent.

From Redundancy to Running One of Stoke-on-Trent's Best Known Estate Agencies

Tom Williams, Managing Director of Findahome Online, recently joined Keith Atkinson on The Growth Diary Podcast to discuss the remarkable journey of building an estate agency from scratch during one of the most challenging economic periods in modern history.

Today, Tom is recognised as one of the best known independent estate agents in Stoke-on-Trent, helping homeowners, landlords, buyers and tenants across Staffordshire through Findahome Online.

Back in 2010, following redundancy during the aftermath of the global financial crisis, Tom found himself at a crossroads. With a young family, a recently completed house extension and no financial backing, he decided to take a leap of faith and launch Findahome Online.

Working from a purpose built office in his back garden and personally delivering thousands of leaflets across Stoke-on-Trent, Tom set out to create a different type of estate agency. At a time when online estate agency was virtually unheard of, Findahome Online was pioneering a model that would later be adopted by national companies.
